Hydroponic gardens take up less space which makes them more versatile. They can be grown in basements, apartment balconies and much more. Since there is no soil used, hydroponic gardens do not inhibit soil type bacteria, diseases, pests, and unwanted plants that leach nutrients. The absence of soil enables the possible of erecting hydroponic gardens anywhere, even sandy or dry areas do not restrict hydroponic gardens.

Dripping systems also need some attention during maintenance check ups. Always have a few extra drippers on reserve incase there are circumstances which call for replacements. For examples, clogged drippers should be replaced immediately. To clean the clogged dripper, dip it into a vinegar solution and scrub if necessary. If the dripper is far to clogged, consider soaking it in water prior to the vinegar solution. Keep drippers nearby so they can be used as replacements whenever needed.
