It uses advanced techniques which can be learned and mastered by almost any experienced gardener. It is convenient as hydroponics allow garden setups to be started almost anywhere as long as certain requirements are met. In a hydroponic set up, there is nothing acting as a buffer, and all the nutrients from fertilizers are easily absorbed by the plants. It is a general rule that EC and pH should never be lower then 5 and higher then 7, as the plant would not be able to absorb any nutrients.
