It is convenient as hydroponics allow garden setups to be started almost anywhere as long as certain requirements are met. The tank solution should be routinely changed once every week; it should be a entire change of solution. It is possible to adjust the EC and pH with additives however it is cleaner to do a full change. This is because the solution may lack micro nutrients or it may also be infected with root rot also known as Phytium. In cases where there is a ready to use nutrient solution, to lower pH use lemon juice or any other phosphoric acid. In cases where there is a injector ready, use a sulphuric acid to lower the pH.
