Looking for information on growing great tomatoes, we can help. Hydroponics is an alternate form of gardening. It has been on the rise in recent years because it has proved to be more nutritionally beneficial. Hydroponics is often referred to as the agriculture of plants in water and also the agriculture of plants without soil. Though the idea seems rather unpractical, its results prove that it may well be the future of gardening as we know it. It uses very advanced techniques and utilizes the understanding of essential chemicals needed for high yields and faster growth. Although it uses only water and no soil to grow, hydroponics really uses less water per yield then regular soil growing.
The tank solution should be routinely changed once every week; it should be a entire change of solution. It is possible to adjust the EC and pH with additives however it is cleaner to do a full change. This is because the solution may lack micro nutrients or it may also be infected with root rot also known as Phytium. In cases where there is a ready to use nutrient solution, to lower pH use lemon juice or any other phosphoric acid. In cases where there is a injector ready, use a sulphuric acid to lower the pH.

In soil based gardens, there is never sufficient nutrient, which is why fertilizers are used in every soil garden. Using hydroponic fertilizers are more difficult to use compared to soil fertilizers. Be sure to read the instructions carefully, the hydroponic fertilizers usually require a certain Ph and dilution level.
